Born on July 23, 1980, in India, Nitin earned a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from National American University. His journey with SUC began immediately after graduation, and over the past 23 years, he has played a key role in driving the Group’s growth and global expansion. Under his guidance, SUC has evolved into a premier educational institution, fostering innovation, excellence and leadership. His contributions have earned him immense respect not only in the higher education sector but also in the broader business community.
Beyond academia, Nitin spearheads Skyline International Group Limited and Skyline Group of Companies, overseeing diverse ventures in education, real estate, manufacturing and hospitality. His leadership has been instrumental in expanding the group’s footprint into Africa, particularly Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania and Rwanda. One of his landmark achievements was the establishment of Skyline University Nigeria (SUN), the first private university in Kano, which received full accreditation in 2018 and commenced operations the same year.
Recognizing the potential of Africa’s booming hospitality sector, Nitin led the group’s expansion into food and beverage through strategic partnerships. In 2019, Skyline Group acquired franchise rights for Pizza Hut across Nigeria, excluding Lagos. By 2021, the company had successfully launched flagship stores in Abuja and Kano, expanding to 12 locations, with plans to exceed 25 outlets by 2025. Additionally, the group secured exclusive distribution and retail rights for Mövenpick Ice Cream, a globally recognized Swiss brand. The first Mövenpick outlet was launched in Kano in 2022, with rapid expansion across major cities.
Beyond international franchises, Nitin championed the creation of StrEat Café, a proprietary restaurant brand under Skyline International Tourism & Hospitality. The concept, launched in Abuja’s Jabi Lake Mall, offers a fusion of Indian, Lebanese and Asian cuisines, setting new standards in fine dining. With a strategic vision, he aims to introduce more high-end restaurants and international F&B chains, elevating Nigeria’s hospitality sector.
